Flying Private Aircraft - Pilot Information

If you have access to a private airplane, consider flying directly to the lodge.

You have 3 options available to you:
  1. Float equipped aircraft can land at both Miminiska and Makokibatan Lodge.
  2. Aircraft on wheels can land on our 2400 foot grass runway at Miminiska Lodge.
  3. Aircraft on wheels can land in Nakina on 3600 foot paved surface or in Thunder Bay and then travel to the lodges on our scheduled flights.
